Movement Platform

This platform spans three rooms with the focus on detailed movement analysis through cutting-edge equipment. Some of the equipment consists of an instrumented treadmill, force plates, motion capture, and Biodex among other possibilities!

Mobility Platform

Mobility has a range of portable systems designed to bridge the gap between laboratory testing and real world application. These systems are ever changing as new wearable technologies develop and currently include wearable IMU systems, mobile device technologies, functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), wireless EMG-IMU systems, portable physiological testing and more.

Reality Platform

Reality consists of a fully functional 2-room apartment complete with an 'outdoor' porch area inside of the lab. The apartment is fully equipped with cameras, speakers, and microphones for recording, monitoring and/or auditory two-way communication with the control room. The apartment is also home to many smart home technologies that lend information about daily patterns. This apartment is adapted for people with impaired mobility.
